Conventional Flexible Foam

 

Introduction:           

Conventional flexible polyurethane foam,refers to polyurethane foam with a certain degree of flexibility,which is with the largest amount in all polyurethane downstream products.The foam structure of polyurethane foam is mostly open cell.The general characteristics are low density,good elasticity,sound absorption,air permeability,thermal insulation performance,mainly used for furniture,vehicle seat cushion pad material,soft liner laminated composite material.Industrial and civil use of soft foam are as filtering material,sound insulation material,shockproof material,decorative material,packaging material and thermal insulation material, etc.

  

Polyether Polyol

The polyether polyol for conventional flexible foam is main MW3000 or 3500 and with glycerin as starter,also there are new generation of polyol being made from vegetable material to replace propylene oxide.

Foam Stabilizer:

Used in the production of rigid polyurethane foam as stabilizer,mainly is modified silicone surfactant,the main structure is poly (ethylene oxide) block copolymer.

 

Catalyst

The catalyst for making flexible foam are mainly A1,A33,DMEA,DEOATEOAT-9,T-12 etc.

 

Paste:

The dyeing properties of polyurethane is good,by adding dye or pigment paste to polyol,especially flexible polyurethane foam,products can be made in bright colors.


Flame Retardant: 
TDCP is a general purpose chlorinated phosphate flame retardant used in polyurethane foams, whose superiority is demonstrated in excellent stability and low cost. It is recommended for polyurethane resins, epoxy resins, and phenolic resins.

For polyurethane foams, it can easily meet the standards such as California TB 117, FMVSS 302, UL 94 HF-1, BS 5852 Crib 5, DIN 75200 and CSE RF4 Class 1.
